For over 18 years, Riverhead Montessori has provided children with a warm, nurturing environment where they are encouraged to explore, discover and grow at their own pace.
Set on half an acre of beautiful natural grounds, our centre combines authentic Montessori education with experienced, caring kaiako who are passionate about helping every child develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.
From our youngest toddlers to children preparing for primary school, we believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, kindness, meaningful learning and plenty of time outdoors.

Our commitment to quality has seen us invited by the Ministry of Education to serve as a model training centre for teachers, and our programme has been studied by the University of Auckland for its success in achieving positive outcomes for children from diverse backgrounds.
